Physiotherapy is a regulated health service that assesses how you move, identifies what is driving your pain or restriction, and treats it through hands-on techniques, prescribed exercise and education. It is not a single technique applied to everyone. Two people with the same diagnosis often leave with very different plans.
A typical course of care at our Wilson Avenue location has three moving parts:
Most patients are seen one on one in a private treatment room. Sessions run 30 to 45 minutes depending on what you are working on.
Some clinics offer physiotherapy as one item on a long menu. Here it is the centre of the practice, and the areas below are where our treatment planning goes into the most depth. Each has its own page if you want the detail before booking.
Physiotherapy is the centre of what we do, but recovery often needs more than one lever. These services run alongside your physiotherapy plan rather than replacing it, and your physiotherapist will tell you plainly whether adding one is worth your money.
The list below covers what we see most often at Wilson Avenue. If your issue is not named here, it does not mean we cannot help. It usually means it sits inside one of these categories under a different label.

| Shoulder pain | Rotator cuff loading, scapular mechanics, sleep position | Graded strengthening program |

We are on the north side of Wilson Ave in a low rise complex. Unit 15 is reached through the main entrance, and we are open seven days a week.
Every physiotherapist at this clinic is registered with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario, and you can check any of them on the public register before you book. We link each profile directly rather than asking you to take our word for it.
Being clear about cost upfront saves everyone an awkward conversation later, so here is how billing works at our North York clinic.
This clinic is a private physiotherapy provider and is not enrolled in the OHIP-funded physiotherapy program. Treatment is paid privately or through extended health insurance. Most workplace benefit plans in Ontario cover registered physiotherapy, and many cover registered massage therapy under a separate limit. We can provide receipts with the practitioner’s registration number for your claim, and direct billing is available with several major insurers. If you are not sure what your plan covers, call your insurer and ask about your annual physiotherapy maximum and whether a physician referral is required for reimbursement.
We are on the north side of Wilson Ave in a low rise complex, west of Allen Road. Unit 15 is reached through the main building entrance rather than its own street door, which is the part most first time patients get caught on.
Exit Highway 401 at Allen Road or Dufferin Street and head to Wilson Ave. You are about five minutes out from Downsview or Yorkdale, closer to eight from Bathurst Manor or Clanton Park. Wilson Ave backs up between 4pm and 6pm on weekdays, so give yourself an extra fifteen minutes for an evening appointment.
Open directions in Google MapsParking is free, on site, and has no time limit during your appointment. Surface spots run along the front of the building, with accessible spaces beside the main entrance. If you need a hand getting from the car to reception, call from the lot and someone will come out to you.
Take Line 1 to Wilson Station, then any bus heading west along Wilson Ave. The nearest stop leaves a short walk to the building. From Sheppard West or Yorkdale the whole trip is usually under twenty minutes, and buses on this stretch run frequently through the evening.
Follow the building directory to Unit 15 and check in at reception. Everything is on one level with no stairs between the entrance and the treatment rooms. Arrive about ten minutes early on your first visit so the intake paperwork does not eat into your assessment time.
Most of our patients here come from within a fifteen minute drive: Willowdale, Bayview Village, Don Mills, Downsview, York Mills, Newtonbrook, Bathurst Manor, Clanton Park, Fairview, Henry Farm, Pleasant View, Parkwoods and Banbury.
Physiotherapy rates at this location are listed below. Massage, chiropractic and other services are priced on their own pages since session lengths differ.
These are the questions our North York front desk hears most often before a first appointment.
It depends on what you are dealing with. Simple soft tissue problems often settle in four to six visits. Post-surgical and neurological cases run longer. Your physiotherapist will give you a range after the assessment and reassess it as you progress.
