Toronto Wellness Physio Center
Physiotherapy Clinic
Richmond Hill
Our Richmond Hill clinic is on the third floor at 9555 Yonge St, Unit 307, just north of Highway 7 on the main Yonge corridor. Everything runs from one file here, so physiotherapy in Richmond Hill can be scheduled alongside massage, chiropractic or acupuncture in the same week rather than coordinated across separate clinics.

The team at this clinic
At our Richmond Hill physiotherapy clinic, we work with a wide range of trusted insurance providers to make your care more accessible and stress-free. Direct billing may be available for many extended health insurance plans, depending on your provider and coverage.
Getting to the clinic
We are on Yonge St just north of Highway 7, on the third floor of the plaza building on the east side. The unit is reached by elevator, which is the part first time patients most often ask about.
-
By car
From the 404, take the Highway 7 exit west. From the 407, come north on Yonge. Yonge slows considerably between Highway 7 and Major Mackenzie in the late afternoon, so for an appointment after 4pm either allow extra time or come up Bayview instead.

Parking
On-site parking is free, with surface spots in the plaza lot and covered parking available. Accessible spaces sit closest to the main entrance. The lot fills around lunchtime because of the other tenants, so an early afternoon appointment may mean parking at the far end.
-
By TTC
Take TTC Line 1 to Finch Station, then head north on Yonge. Viva Blue runs the corridor frequently and stops within a short walk, and YRT routes serve the same stretch. From Finch the trip is usually twenty five to thirty five minutes depending on traffic.
-
Once you are inside
Take the elevator to the third floor and turn left when you exit. Unit 307 is on the left side, and the building directory lists us at the entrance. Check in at reception when you arrive.
Most of our patients here come from across Richmond Hill and the surrounding area: Bayview Hill, Mill Pond, Crosby, Observatory, Langstaff, Doncrest, Headford, Jefferson and Oak Ridges, along with Thornhill, Markham, Vaughan and Aurora.
Fees and insurance
Physiotherapy rates are the same at both of our clinics. Massage, chiropractic and the other services are priced on their own pages, since session lengths differ.
-
Initial Assessment and Treatment $120
-
45 mins Treatment $100
-
45 mins Treatment + Shockwave Therapy $120
We direct bill most extended health plans, so you pay only the portion your plan does not cover. If your insurer does not support direct billing, you pay at the visit and we issue a detailed receipt ready to submit. Call ahead with your plan details and we will confirm before your first appointment.
Conditions we treat here
These are what we see most often at the Yonge St clinic. Each page covers what tends to cause the problem, what an assessment checks for, and what a realistic recovery timeline looks like.
-
Neck pain
Morning stiffness, limited turning, or pain that creeps up into the skull. We check the mid back and shoulder blade too, since the neck rarely acts alone.
Read about neck pain -
Shoulder pain
Reaching, lifting and sleeping get affected first. Rotator cuff irritation and frozen shoulder look similar early on and need different plans, so the assessment separates them.
Read about shoulder pain -
Back pain
Most episodes settle without imaging. What matters is finding which movements aggravate it and rebuilding tolerance rather than avoiding activity altogether.
Read about back pain -
Knee pain
Stairs, squatting and running expose it. Treatment usually addresses hip strength and foot mechanics, because the knee is often where the problem shows rather than where it starts.
Read about knee pain -
Elbow pain
Tendon pain at the elbow responds to progressive loading, not rest. We work out which grip and wrist positions provoke it, then build tolerance from there.

Ankle and foot pain
Heel pain on the first steps of the morning, or an ankle that keeps rolling. Balance retraining does as much work here as strength.
Read about ankle and foot pain -
Sciatica pain
Leg pain, pins and needles, or weakness that follows a line down the leg. The first job is locating where the nerve is being irritated before any treatment starts.
Read about sciatica -
Wrist pain
Numbness at night, pain with gripping, or a joint that never felt right after an old injury. Nerve and tendon causes are treated quite differently.

Programs and coverage at this clinic
Many visits here are funded by an insurer or an open claim rather than paid at the desk. Each one has its own forms and reporting schedule, and we deal with the funder directly so the paperwork is not your problem between appointments.
-
Work injuries (WSIB)
For an open WSIB claim. Reporting runs on a schedule the board sets, and the plan is built around what your role actually requires you to do.
See WSIB program -
Motor vehicle accident
Billed to your auto insurer. Collisions on Highway 7 and the 404 bring most of these to us, and starting assessment early matters for both the claim and the recovery.
See MVA program -
Refugee physiotherapy
Covered under the Interim Federal Health Program. Appointments can be booked in English, Farsi or Turkish.
See eligibility -
Personal injury
Rehab attached to an active legal claim. Every reassessment is documented, so your file carries a clear clinical record rather than a bundle of receipts.
See how it works -
Sport injury
Getting back to the sport, not just out of pain. Loading is progressed until you can handle what your sport actually asks of you.
See sport rehab -
Extended health care
Coverage through a workplace or private plan. Many patients here are on employer benefits from Markham and Vaughan, and we direct bill most of those insurers.
